General Provisions

1. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") defines the procedure for processing and protecting the personal data of users of the website logopedy.kz (hereinafter referred to as the "Site"), owned by the speech therapy center "Logopedy Almaty" (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator").

2. The Operator is located at: Republic of Kazakhstan, 128 Nazarbayev Avenue, Almaty. Contact email address: info@example.kz.

3. This Policy has been developed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 21, 2013 No. 94-V "On Personal Data and Their Protection" (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Data Law"), as well as other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of personal data protection.

4. By using the Site, as well as by contacting the Operator through the contact channels specified on the Site (phone, WhatsApp, feedback form), the User expresses their consent to the terms of this Policy. If the User does not agree with the terms of the Policy, they must stop using the Site and not transmit their data to the Operator.

5. This Policy is publicly available and applies to all personal data that the Operator may obtain from the User.

What Data We Collect

1. The Operator collects only the personal data that the User voluntarily provides when contacting the speech therapy center. Such data includes:

  • User's name (or other form of address);
  • Contact phone number;
  • Nature of the inquiry (e.g., consultation request, appointment booking, questions about services).

2. The Operator does not collect special categories of personal data (e.g., health data, unless voluntarily provided by the User as part of an inquiry), nor biometric data.

3. When visiting the Site, technical information is automatically collected, including:

  • IP address;
  • browser type and operating system;
  • date and time of visit;
  • pages viewed by the User;
  • cookie data and similar technologies.

4. The Operator does not collect data of minors without the consent of their legal representatives. If the User is a legal representative of a child and provides data about them, such action is considered voluntary consent to processing.

Purposes of processing

1. Personal data is processed solely for the following purposes:

  • Processing User inquiries received by phone, via WhatsApp, or through the feedback form on the Site (consultations, appointment booking, information requests);
  • Provision of speech therapy services (including home visits or at the center);
  • Communication with the User to clarify the details of the inquiry, confirm an appointment, or inform about changes in the work schedule;
  • Improving the quality of services and Site operation based on analysis of traffic and User behavior (using anonymized data);
  • Compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Personal data is not processed for purposes incompatible with those stated above.

Legal Basis and Consent

1. The legal basis for processing personal data is:

  • User's consent to the processing of personal data, which is provided when contacting through communication channels (call, WhatsApp message, filling out a form) or when using the Site with cookies enabled;
  • Necessity of fulfilling the contract (provision of speech therapy services) to which the User is a party;
  • Legitimate interests of the Operator related to improving the quality of services, provided that such interests do not violate the rights and freedoms of the User.

2. Consent to the processing of personal data is considered granted from the moment the User performs one of the following actions:

  • Makes a call to the phone number listed on the Site;
  • Sends a message via WhatsApp;
  • Fills out a feedback form on the Website;
  • Continues to use the Site after being notified about cookies.

3. The User has the right to withdraw their consent at any time by sending a corresponding request to the Operator. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

Cookies and Analytics

1. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (web beacons, pixels) to ensure proper operation, collect visit statistics, and analyze User behavior.

2. The following types of cookies are used on the Site:

  • Technical (necessary for the Site's functioning);
  • Analytical (for collecting traffic data using Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica).

3. Data collected via Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica includes anonymized information: IP address (in truncated form), browser type, visit time, pages viewed. This data does not allow identification of a specific User.

4. The User can manage cookie settings in their browser, disabling them fully or partially. Disabling analytical cookies does not affect Site functionality but may reduce the accuracy of statistics.

5. The Operator does not use cookies to collect personal data unless expressly stated otherwise in this Policy.

Transfer to third parties

1. The Operator does not transfer Users' personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • When it is necessary for the provision of services (e.g., transferring data to a courier service for a home visit, if such a service is ordered);
  • Upon request of authorized state bodies in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • To protect the rights and legitimate interests of the Operator or third parties;
  • With the User's consent.

2. The Operator may transfer anonymized statistical data (without specifying the name, phone number, or other identifying information) to third parties for analysis and improvement of service quality.

3. When transferring data to third parties, the Operator ensures confidentiality and protection of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Law.

Retention Periods

1. Users' personal data is stored for the period necessary to achieve the processing purposes specified in Section 3 of this Policy, but no longer than required by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. If the User has withdrawn consent to the processing of personal data, the Operator is obliged to destroy such data within 30 calendar days from the date of receiving the request, unless otherwise provided by law (e.g., for contract performance or compliance with tax legislation).

3. Anonymized data (statistics, analytics) may be stored indefinitely.

Rights of the Data Subject

1. The User, as a data subject, has the following rights:

  • Right to access one's personal data — to request from the Operator information about what data is being processed, for what purpose, and on what basis;
  • Right to change or supplement data — to demand correction of inaccurate or outdated information;
  • Right to withdraw consent — to withdraw previously given consent to the processing of personal data;
  • Right to erasure — to demand the deletion of personal data if it is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing or if the processing is unlawful;
  • Right to restrict processing — to demand the suspension of data processing in cases provided for by law;
  • Right to appeal the Operator's actions — to contact the authorized body for consumer protection or the court.

2. To exercise their rights, the User may send a request to the Operator via email at info@example.kz or by mail at: 128 Nazarbayev Avenue, Almaty. The request must include:

  • Last name, first name, patronymic (if available);
  • Contact information for feedback;
  • Nature of the request (e.g., "I request information about my personal data");
  • Date and signature (for requests in written form).

3. The Operator is obliged to review the request and provide a response within 30 calendar days from the date of its receipt, unless a different period is established by law.

Data Protection

1. The Operator takes all necessary organizational and technical measures to protect Users' personal data from unauthorized access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as from other unlawful actions.

2. Such measures include:

  • Use of secure communication channels (SSL certificate on the Site);
  • Limiting access to personal data to authorized employees only;
  • Regular updates of software and antivirus protection;
  • Conducting internal audits of data protection compliance.

3. The Operator is not responsible for the actions of third parties who may gain access to the User's data as a result of the User's own violation of security rules (e.g., sharing passwords or using public networks).

Policy Changes

1. The Operator reserves the right to make changes to this Policy unilaterally. The new version of the Policy takes effect upon its publication on the Site, unless otherwise specified in the text of the changes.

2. The User is obliged to independently monitor changes to the Policy. Continued use of the Site or contacting the Operator after changes have been made implies acceptance of the new version.

3. The current version of the Policy is always available at: logopedy.kz/privacy-policy (or another page indicated on the Site).
